Aura Hunters

Also known as Magic Hunters.

Basically crows with sucker mouths instead of beaks. They suck the magic out of people and things when untrained. Knights of the Hand use them as messenger birds. They're drawn to the magic nuggets the Knights make. Enables the Knights to communicate across long distances.

Created during the clash between Traveling Parent and Andromeda / Created by Traveling Parent. (If so, they need a reason. Parent makes things for very specific reasons. Perhaps because the Parent designed them to track down Andromeda after she retreated during one of their fights.)

They are eaten by the Azher'Tek because they don't have much farming. They're like pigeons in the streets of the City of Glass because they are attracted to its magic.
