Causes

The caster carves a scarification into the target, and then chants a few words.

Symptoms

Those afflicted will immediately lose sensation throughout their body. The only thing that hurts at that point is the sigil of the spell itself, where all that pain has been broguht to.

Treatment

To remove the curse, one must simply distort the scarification.

Prevention

If someone can manage to carve the mark into you, you're SOL. That said, doing that can be quiet hard.

History

An ancient Roman spell used to help buff their warriors. Many complained about their inability to feel things afterwords, so it became optional and eventually faded into obscurity.
