Snaddlezap

Snaddlezap is a small town in the Snaddle Rift, a gorge in the surface of Ziltare leading down to the Subtide Nexus. The Shadow Gnome inhabitants make their living from the nexus, hunting the creatures that dwell below, supplying Temshai with components and reagents that most surface-dwellers wouldn't dare try to obtain. The gnomes are especially skilled at neutralizing creatures with magic and traps in a way that preserves their anatomies, making harvesting easier and more lucrative. The gnomes have little to do with outsiders, generally engaging with the Coppercog chapter of The Purveyors' Purse rather than selling directly.
The gnomes do allow travelers to pass through the city, and some of the more outgoing even act as guides to the underground realm. Gnomes willing to deal favourably with outsiders can be found in the Shadow's Maw Tavern, while more reclusive denizens of the town can relax at one of several gnome-exclusive pubs.
