Kress

Kress is a leafy green fern with black tips and a shimmery blue stalk, found only in the Kalaskar Swamp. Eaten, it is deadly to most races, though the Lizardfolk are immune to it. When dried, however, it can be made into a tea or ground into a powder. When the tea is drunk, or the more potent powder is imbibed or snorted, it places the consumer in a dreamlike state, causing them to experience vivid, pleasant, dreams. While highly sought after for pain relief, its properties also make it highly addictive, not to mention desirable, and every civilized nation views it as a substance to be carefully controlled.
