Kobold

Kobolds in Temshai are generally subservient to other races, trading goods or providing services in an almost ingratiating manner. Left to their own devices, however, they carry a deep resentment for most races, as in the kobold's eyes, they are larger, stronger, or more skilled or powerful. Keen-eared patrons are likely to catch kobolds muttering insults when they feel they're not being watched.
The one race kobolds revere are the dragons, despite the fact that no kobold in over two millennia has seen an actual dragon. Draconic motifs are frequently used in the kobold's designs, and most kobolds would instantly rush to do any dragon's bidding. They don't have the same respect for the dragonborn, however, seeing them as lesser versions of greater beings.
