Genasi

Genasi are mortal beings who have a genie from the elemental planes in their family tree. Most frequently, genasi are the child of a mortal and a genie, but elemental powers can lie dormant for several generations after such a relationship. Genasi are quite rare on Temshai, though at least in the larger cities, people are aware of their existence. The most common type are Earth Genasi, stemming from the genie presence in Eastern Rasharan's Sandsea of Juddarith, but Wind, Water, and Fire Genasi are seen on Temshai very occasionally as well.
