Tortle

Alkulk rested by the edge of the river. She had travelled all day yesterday, so she wanted to watch the fish while her travelling companions planned on how they were going to split the reward. They glanced over at their tortoise-resembling companion, who only watched the fish gently swim down the river. Only several days prior they had fought an entire camp of goblins, and the old Tortle in all of her years just took her first life outside of hunting and fishing...   Tortles are peaceful, almost enlightened, individuals that resemble their Tortoise counterparts. They travel, either alone or in groups, to live peacefully and mingle with the other races. They often collect things to trade with passing groups to help in their survival, and their large shells make for excellent resting places and natural defense against the harsh world.
