The old man looked Sarah over again, "You have Lycan blood, but not by curse. You received it through your bloodline child. Much like half-elves in a sense, you are of both worlds."
Like half-races in Telnoth, a Shifters blood is shared between two sides of the world. For a shifter to exist, a person with the Lycan's curse must have a child with another humanoid being. Once they reach a mature age, a Shifter's animal traits begin to show. They might have a tough skin to break, or may have heightened senses. Shifters often go adventuring because they may be exiled from their home once their traits are discovered, or they may want to learn more about their heritage. They often seek solace in travelling the world, seeing the wilds that cover it.

Anatomy

Shifters are human in appearance, but have vaying and different animalistic traits that vary depending on what kind of shifter it is. One shifter may have feline eyes and a sharp claws, while others may have thick skin and fur in certain areas.
