The class academies

What kind of formal education is available to children in your world? Why is it available and how is it organized?   For the 7 great classes (Barbarian, Bard, Fighter, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, and Wizard) the 1 lesser class (Artificer) there is some form of formal education provided by various guilds, families, or political parties.   -------------------------------------   As far as Warlocks go, there is... recruitment, and sometimes education depending on the pact patron.   Sorcerers are largely on their own, and not much is known about their progression. A sorcerer's class is something deeply personal to them, and they are one of the least likely to seek help or information. There is little to no sorcerer training, leading to the number of high-level sorcerers being very rare indeed.   Druids often form apprenticeships with other druids, leading them to most often travel the world in pairs until the older dies, at which point the younger should now take on an apprentice. This sort of one on one mentorship leads to druids being incredibly knowledgeable, secretive, and relatively few in number.   A Cleric's journey is entirely dependent on their specific god and religion. Some who follow the popular gods receive incredibly rigorous and formal training, while those who follow more obscure deities may find that their training more resembles that of a druid or warlock.   Monks suffer from a general conflict of personality. Very few people pursue a monastic philosophy while also embracing adventure. That means that while the basics of monks are well documented amongst its practitioners, many monks simply lack the experience to ever truly hone their craft to the point of other touched.    Bloodhunters are a secret order who's powers are not general knowledge. While there are an increasing amount of more well-connected people who know of Blood-Magic, the persons in these sorts of circles are not very chatty as a general rule. The Bloodhunters know relatively little about their powers and take each new discovery. They have also found that their powers can manifest in different ways amongst different practitioners, making it even more difficult to predict the next power for trainees.   There are other classes and practitioners of material magic, but they are few and far between. These are the most common ways in which the touched and non-touched manifest their abilities.
