Uthooplig and V'peef's Exposition

...And how shall it be? Because she IS the mistress of all dragons! Her might is absolute, her fury is pure destruction! The humans shall burn, burn burn! Burn bright as the fires within our mistress' eyes! Hot as the conflagration she bestows upon all who oppose her! All shall bow to her! All humans shall despair! They will be penned, and eaten as they eat cattle! They will suffer, they will wail in misery; all for the glory of Vheketeshaynaralax, the Mistress of Hell herself! She will feast on their souls, always growing, always gorging herself on their larvae as she expands to encompass all of this universe...

Uthooplig and V'peef will be in the middle of this diatribe when the characters enter the temple.
They are going to fill them in that, as Shayna is not of this place, this world, she is beyond anything the paltry gods could do to harm her, and that is because the world, Tellus, is trapped in it's very own Time Frame. When Shayna's Rift began to leak the primordial annihilation into our Prime Material Plane, Bayard isolated the focal point of the rift in a unique time frame. It worked, ultimately, but then Tellus and its Plane of Existence was stuck, outside of spacetime, and therefore outside of reality. Essentially, for the time trap to end, the dragon travelers will have to suicide, they will have to annihilate themselves. As long as any taint of the primordial annihilation remains on the world, in this reality, the time trap cannot end. It is causing the The Great Weave to unravel, which would of course mean the destruction of everything. And then, annihilation wins.
