Tîchehî Nyimîku Tradition / Ritual in Tellus | World Anvil

Tîchehî Nyimîku (/tɨʧeˈhɨ/ /ɲimɨˈku/)

Orcs are traditionally fierce in both friendship, and war, and this welcome ritual is a perfect example of that. After a joyful greeting, for one never knows when one will never return, there is a fun little donnybrook, after which all parties tap a keg of nut brown ale and sing songs together. It matters not who wins or loses, only that everybody puts real effort into it, and literally does their best. In this way, the greatest of warriors has befreinded the gentlest of poets, and yet the orc population maintains readiness in case of war.   It is an ancient ritual hearkening back to the Orcs' time on the moon, Luna, before they invaded Tellus.
