The Nascents

The Nascents are a new movement of younger Sylvan Elves, who resent the strictures of the old ways, and actively seek to disprove the Dihaptic River's influence over their people. In doing so, they have succeeded in proving that drinking the water of the river improves the span of one's life significantly. Elves, who normally see seven hundred and fifty years, have begun living for twice, or even thrice, as long.
They have also noticed that they can see better in the gloam of the forest, slip away more quietly, and find food more easily.
The Nascents disbelieve this data, swearing up down and sideways that it is a clever fabrication of the Loyalists, who (of course) deny any involvement in the affair.
