Poker
A competetive, gambling card game, the premise of poker is simple, but the nuances are masterful.
Objective: Players aim to make the best five-card hand or to bluff opponents into folding. Card Setup: A standard 52-card deck is used, and each player is dealt two private cards (hole cards). Community Cards: Five community cards are dealt face-up in three stages: the Flop (3 cards), the Turn (1 card), and the River (1 card). Gameplay: Blinds: The game starts with two forced bets, the Small Blind and Big Blind, made by players to the left of the dealer. Betting Rounds: There are four betting rounds: Pre-Flop (after hole cards are dealt), Post-Flop, Turn, and River. Players can Check, Bet, Call, Raise, or Fold. Winning: The best five-card hand, using any combination of hole cards and community cards, wins the pot. If all opponents fold, the remaining player wins the pot. Hand Rankings (from highest to lowest): Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, One Pair, High Card.
