Hunting in Pax

Hunting in Pax is a storied and honorable profession and pastime. The landscape is quite covered in broadleaf forests, interspersed with fertile plains of tall grass, and plenty of clean water is readily available for all and sundry. The climate spans the gamut, from tropical to sub-arctic, and the persistent southern winds bring nutrients and minerals.

Game is plentiful, here in Pax, where The Great Hunt is a superstition most people wholeheartedly believe in. Everyone knows a great hunter, or fisherman, or even both often enough. Fly fishing tales and stories of wild hunts within the deepest forests of the area can pass for small talk throughout the entire continent, between men and women alike. Indeed, some of the greatest woodsmen in the entire world are women from rural Pax.
