Alligator

Able to hold their breath for up to fifteen minutes, these reptile predators can vary in color from green to dark brown, and even white in some places. They are ferocious hunters, who will grab their victims and take them underwater for a "Death Roll", and then store them under something, such as a bundle of roots.

Alligators are reptilian predators who can grow to enormous sizes in stagnant water. They can float like a log, perfectly still, for hours at a time...just waiting for the chance to surge forward and strike!

Warm, slow moving or stagnant water.
