Alliance Between the Lovasnép and the Gedimar

An alliance between the Lovasnép and the Gedimar in the late 730s is the first historical event recorded with certainty in connection with the Lovasnép people.
According to a memorial stone erected on the west bank of the Subarat River in or before 738, the Gedimar and the “Lovoshni” agreed that there should thenceforth be no wars between them along its course, and that each would defend the other against outside threats.
