Bane Berry

These trees form clusters of small, densely packed, red and white berries without ever flowering. Though they taste delicious, they are highly toxic and can even be deadly to children. These trees seem to crop up on the edges of urban areas and cities, and as such are responsible for dozens of deaths each year. As such, they are often thought to be the work of some spurned god of nature.
