Not wanting to lose their Northern settlements in the same way as their highland settlements, the Iron Dominion launches a risky, but ultimately successful military campaign to eradicate the dangerous monsters, creatures, and megafauna of the Northwest Corridor. The effort took 6 years, and many soldiers of the Iron Regiment were lost in the effort. However, in the end the first Great Hunt was made the Northwest Corridor much safer for the burgeoning province of the Iron Dominion.
