Shadows of the Valley
The Shadows of the Valley are a powerful organization of bandits, thieves, and criminals that operate in Chapel Valley. The organization was created shortly after the end of the The Second Great Hunt and was founded by former members of the Iron Regiment involved in the military campaign. Much of the criminal activity that occurs in the Lower Valley can be traced either directly or indirectly to the Shadows.
The name "Shadows of the Valley" may be a play on the myths of the Hidebehinds. It is also possibly a reference to the First and Second Shadowfall, the twin passings of the Rings' shadow over the Faylen Continent.
The headquarters of the Shadows is unknown to everyone but their most senior members, but members of the Shadows operate in most major settlements of the Valley.
