Session 1 | Rozelli's Request | Report
General Summary
On a lovely Vecos evening as our heroes started to gather at the Seining Swashbuckler, they witnessed a brazen attack on a citizen outside the tavern. Coco Adica Lilin Luna Candyce Mystery spotted a hooded figure roll a golden ball of about 8" in diameter down the street towards Tiffany Rigatoni, which then proceeded to release a massive cloud of smoke into the alleyway. Our heroes began to push into the fog, only to find that the golden ball had transformed into a small army of mechanical, clockwork spiders that were attempting to kill Tiffany Rigatoni. The party jumped in to intervene, and destroyed all of the clockwork spiders, but were unable to catch the assassin.
After the battle finished, the players conversed with Tiffany Rigatoni and searched the mechanical spiderlings for a few minutes before they were interrupted by Albizzo Rozelli, an infamous playwright in the city of Vecos. Rozelli propositioned the party to assist him in finding his missing cousin, Francesca Rozelli, who was last seen at the Conoseum. In exchange, Albizzo Rozelli gave each member of the party 10 GP as a pre-payment, and claimed he would give the party an entire home in Vecos should they successfully find Francesca Rozelli in the city.
As the party were wrapping up their negotiations with Albizzo Rozelli, several city watch led by Yosryn Gimble entered the Seining Swashbuckler to investigate the assassination attempt that took place outside. Tiffany Rigatoni hid behind Coco Adica Lilin Luna Candyce Mystery, while the rest of the party gave Yosryn Gimble a (slightly embellished) retelling of the events that transpired outside.
