One Shot Menu


This document will be used for determining plot points, locations, and time periods for one shots set in the world of Tellandria. This article, or a similar article, may also be used for determining future campaign locations and plot points.

When we are in the process of scheduling a one shot, I will ask players to choose a location, time period, and plot from the options below.

Locations:

  • Faylen - Inspired by North and Central America
  • Jhatur - Inspired by North Africa and the Middle East, Kropall Continent
  • Karstrana - Inspired by Eastern Europe, Russia, and the Eurasian Steppes, Idraz Continent
  • Leostria - Inspired by the land and cultures of the Mediterranean, Idraz Continent
  • Molvysmir - Inspired by the Arctic Circle, Idraz Continent
  • Mukan - Inspired by Asia, Idraz Continent
  • Omadu - Inspired by Central Africa and the Savannah, Kropall Continent
  • The Pantheon - Inspired by the Pacific Islands
  • Salvone - Inspired by the Iberian Peninsula, Idraz Continent
  • Yeclaisyl - Inspired by Alaska and the Arctic Circle

Time Periods: 

  • Age of Creation - Time period when Tellandria was young, and the Gods directly interfered in the lives of mortals
  • Age of Renewal - Time period following the creation of the rings and the rebuilding of mortal civilization (medieval, dark ages inspired)
  • Age of Expansion - Time period when major empires and global powers were forming (medieval inspired)
  • Age of Exploration - Time period when the major powers of Tellandria began pushing the boundaries of their empires and funding expeditions to the far reaches of the world
  • Age of Colonization - Time period when the major powers of Tellandria began creating colonies on the less developed and/or (seemingly) uninhabited areas of the world 
  • Age of Upheaval - Time period when colonies revolted against their home countries, creating new countries and causing the downfall of old ones (American revolution, industrial revolution, napoleonic wars)

Plot: 

  • Assassination - Your party is tasked with killing/incapacitating an important target
  • Battle - Your party is involved in an important conflict. Find the means to achieve victory
  • Escape - Your party is trapped! Find a way to get out before it is too late! 
  • Heist - Your party is tasked with stealing/retrieving an object of value 
  • Hunt - Your party is tasked with finding an elusive creature
  • Investigation - Your party is hired to investigate something strange and unusual
  • Liberation - Your party is seeking to free an ally (or allies) from imprisonment
  • Mystery - Your party is involved in a puzzling problem
  • Research/Expedition - Your party is hoping to make new discoveries or uncover old secrets
