Hubert Manson, or "Hugh" to friends, is a sentient colony of fungus that inhabits the corpse of a Human.

Hugh is a rotting, decomposing corpse that is occupied by a fungal network.
Physical quirks
Hugh's fungal colony struggles to control all of his corpse body at once. As a result, Hugh performs his "normal human behaviors" in a very disconcerting and awkward way. For example, when Hugh runs, his upper body often goes completely slack as his fungal network focuses its attention on his legs.

Hugh is very cagey about his past, insisting that he has always been a normal human and that he has only done normal human things throughout his life.
