Book III | Chapter I | The Road to Hellford Report

General Summary

After their meeting with the two Iron Dominion Strikers, the party traveled north for the town of Hellford. Along the way, the party encountered a traveling merchant by the name of Mansur bin Ghalib Al'Mizar. After buying some magical items and much needed arcane supplies from Mansur, the party questioned him about where he came from and how he discovered their location. After a few too many questions, Mansur used some kind of teleportation magic to whisk himself away. 

After about 3 days of traveling along the Southern Bypass, the party encountered an overturned wagon that appeared to have been the wagon that was used by Aman'da and Silas Morning. Upon closer inspection, Jack Morning discovered a hidden message underneath the seat of the overturned wagon, which read: 

Hooded Figures 
Chased us 
Cart Fell 
Both Safe 

After discovering the letter, the party made their way hastily north along the now abandoned Hellford Bisect, approaching the ruins of Hellford near the end of the session.
