Book II | Chapter I | Book Recovery {Report}

General Summary

On the 9th of Newgrowth, Eccistiameak Therxora, Cards , Cass, Silas , and Adrian Lawrence met outside of the Sorewood Let-Up to take on a job offered by Ferros Sloweye of the Sorewood Semi-Public Library. The party traveled to the Semi-Public Library, where they were tasked with tracking down a missing shipment of books that was supposed to arrive in Sorewood the other day, but has gone missing. In exchange, Mr. Sloweye offered to give them an annotated map of the Rich Banks Borough that he had created himself on Sawtree Leaves. 

The party departed Sorewood and traveled south along the Settler's Highway towards Crossroads, stopping to rest at a well-used campsite. The next day, on the morning of the 10th of Newgrowth, the party encountered an overturned cart, several mangled corpses, and an angry Bulette that engaged them in combat. Cass dealt the killing blow, immolating the bulette before it could knock Ecci unconscious. 

The party found the books in a second overturned cart not far off from the first, and returned to Sorewood, arriving after dark. While traveling through Sorewood's streets, the party was approached by Rannik Glaze, who offered to sell them "revolutionary" baked goods from his bakery cart. The party purchased some food from him, and then departed ways for the evening, with Cass and Silas agreeing to deliver the books to Ferros the next day.
