Big Bruce
Big Bruce is an awakened Black Patch that was given sentience by Murky Ida Mirepaddler to serve as a doorman of sorts for the Obsidian Quay. He resembles a semi-anthropomorphic mass of black goo that uses various bones and humanoid remnants to accentuate his communication.

Big Bruce is an Ooze first and foremost, but uses skeletal remains to give himself a more humanoid appearance when he communicates with others. However, given that his Ooze form lacks the ability to mimic the subtleties of humanoid mannerisms, Big Bruce comes across more as a ventriloquist bone puppet rather than a true humanoid creature.

Not much is known about Big Bruce's history, beyond what Big Bruce himself has shared with the Fenfolk who have visited Murky Ida Mirepaddler at the Obsidian Quay. At various points, Bruce has shared that he was "a man once", and that Murky Ida often gives her "creations" like him strange quirks.
