Veldep

Veldep, a rather small country, occupying the eastern islands around the quenched bay of Utakar, is mostly known for its wonderful secluded nature and breathtaking view on the Wrought Maw. This and the fact, that it is the biggest of the two human settlements on a predominantly dwarvish island. From here ships sail off to different coasts to sell goods traded with the dwarves and travellers having enjoyed their stay on Utakar in a rather familiar environment.
The sporadic ashrains on Veldep make the earth very fertile and crops grow without issue, wich also gives the citizens of Veldep amd their monarch access to a surplus of exotic fruits and other delicacies.
The relationship with the dwarves themselves is rather poor as they mostly stay inside their mountain and if they come into contct with one another dwarven diplomats seem rather annoyed of the mere presence of humans, although it quickly makes way for the promise of trade and gold.
The lizans on the other hand are very curious and connections are much easier to establish.
