Karackthul

Karackthul, the dwarven kingdom, dominating the continent of Utakar is the religous center of the dwarven kingdoms. Here the king is also the highest ranking priest of the Keepers of the Forge and is a keyfigure in many rituals and festivities central to the culture of Karackthul. Having to share this sacred island with other races may be a major inconvenience to most rulers, but the king is rather amicable to the others as he doesn't want to spill blood on this holy ground.
However there are certain clans demanding to rid themselves of the other and drive the foreigners off, to varying extends, but the council and the king keep these clans under control and keep up the diplomatic relationships with therir neighbours.
Temples and shrines are second nature in this immovable kingdom, as well as giant obsidian statues and jewelry made from those black minerals.
