Magenetic Crystal

Magenetic crystals are small semi-translucent white crystals up to 1 inch large. Individual crystals refuse to get in contact with other magenetic crystals. When brought closer than 1 ft, they glow a dull red and start exerting a force away from the other crystal. This force, and the glow, become stronger and is strongest when the crystals are touching, when the force is strong enough to lift 5 pounds.
When a crystal is broken, it looses it's repelling properties and turns completely translucent.
They can grow in wet caves that have ongoing magical effects, or that contain residual magical energy. When multiple form together, they will create interesting geometric patterns, with individual crystals not closer than 1ft from each other.
