Earthmurk poisoning
A mental and physical condition brought on by exposure from Earthmurk.
The dissease progresses in 6 stages. Stage 1 is contracted after the initial exposure. Continuing proximity to the Earthmurk longer than 1 minute, or any following instances of exposure will advance the dissease to it's next stage.
Dwarves are the ones most often affected by Earthmurk poisoning, due to their tendency to dig around.
Treatment
In stages 1 through 3, the dissease can be purged using a Lesser Restoration spell. In stages 4 through 6 however, only a Greater Restoration or Heal spell can cure the victim.
Prognosis
- Stage 1 through 3 of Earthmurk poisoning cause slightly depressed thoughts and a general feeling of negativity.
- Stage 4 causes exhaustion and the victim becomes visibly unwell with a yellowish tint to their skin. Paranoia sets in.
- Stage 5 causes even more exhaustion and slows the victims movements. Paranoid delusions and uncontrollable anger are happen often.
- In stage 6 hard knobs will form on the skin and fluid accumulates in the superficial tissues, forming hardened abscesses.
