Laws of Magic Items

Magic items exist all over Telarul. Some are constructed in large quantities, some are one of a kind masterpieces. Yet others are created by a natural phenomenon, or by a failed experiment. Whatever the origin or type of the item, most magic items follow certain arcane laws. Items that do not follow the laws are either malfunctioning, or deliberately crafted (sometimes at great expense) to circumvent the laws.

Laws of Spellscribing

Whether it be writing a scroll, spellbook or runes, all forms of written spells follow certain laws. Spells can be specifically crafted to circument one or more of the rules, but this will significantly impact the nature of it's effects.
