Not many farms or villages surround the east of Faloura. Sitting on the coast is a massive set of ruins, the walls to the city still stand strong wrapping all the way around to the coast, the gates have long since crumbled.
Inside the streets are lined with buildings not too different to those in Osca. Most of the buildings are crumbling but for buildings of their age they are holding up well, while some are dangerous to enter it looks like a few are still usable.
On the eastern coast of Faluroa sits the Ruined City of Elbra, once the sixth port city now a desolate deserted city. Most in Faloura steer clear of these ruins, during the war of the six ports Elbra was crushed by the Brook lead Lindum and the Silk Legion. The city was crushed when Lindum spies snuck into the city and summoned elementals that ran rampant crushing Elbra within hours. 580 years later the ruins stand as a monument to the war. The fact most steer clear has meant the city is the perfect hiding spot for the Hand of Ascal, not only is it Ascals home it's quiet enough for the cultists to roam the streets in peace. Within the city the Cult has bound the remaining elementals across the different districts, each of these districts house gates to other planes of existence.
Each District within the city is guarded by an element and a high ranking member of the cult, they each guard a crystal that powers the elementals in the city but also gives the hand the power to open a portal to the Feywild.
Residential District - Plane of Air
Right by the city gates the residential district is lined with cobbled streets and the remains of two story buildings, some are entirely rubble while others barely stand after centuries. The streets are filled with roaming members of the hand who sweep the streets. A cultist named Mader Rhune is in charge of this district, he is guarding a crystal that is synphing power from the plane of air and is empowering his air elemental guard.
Dock - Plane of Water
The Docks of the ruined city once housed hundreds of ships, with great stone jetties that extended deep into the bay, and massive dry docks that now lie empty and flooded. Between the broken stone docks lies a forest of rotting wooden masts from the countless ships sunk long ago. The whole district is flooded, with small rivers flowing down the streets slowly smoothing and eroding the cobbled roads. The sewers constantly bubble with fresh spring forming pools of water across the district. Due to the recent death of the cultist siphoning power from the plane of water, the water elementals now wander aimlessly, aggressively attacking in a confused rage.
Commercial District - Plane of Earth
Once a bustling center for commerce, now most of the district has been reduced to rubble. Skeletons of giant stone structures and cobbled market squares are all that remains. Little has been preserved, even in comparison to other districts within the city, almost as if an earthquake has further eroded the abandoned ruins. The district is full of earthen hills and broken roadways, sometimes it's difficult to traverse as the buckled land forms ridges and small cliffs that criss-cross the area. A cultist named Brock Grimes is in charge of this district, he guards the crystal siphoning the power from the plane of earth, which lies at the bottom of a deep craggy crater at the center of the district.
The Nobles - Plane of Fire
Unlike the other ruined parts of the city, the nobles district is remarkably intact. Magnificent ornate mansions decorate the sides of each boulevard, the wide streets are immaculate and well maintained, and interestingly the few destroyed buildings show signs of being rebuilt. Other than the constant cloud of smoke and the perpetual smell of ash, the nobles district looks distinctly hospitable. Deeper within the district are a series of great buildings turned into grand Fire elemental powered forges producing materials and tools to help rebuild and fortify the district. Within the greatest forge, among verandas of metal and the greatest of the city's steel works lies the crystal siphoning power from the plane of fire, under the stewardship of the cultist Gifford Rosco.
Religious District - The Feywilds
Towering above the city's skyline is a great gleaming cathedral of white stone sitting in the center of town, this vast building guides the way to the religious district. Here is where the city's spiritual leaders once resided, among beautiful lush gardens, cobbled stone streets and ancient murals depicting the gods of the land. Now the whole district has taken on a new otherworldly aspect, lush with life, where the sun never seems to stop glowing. The streets are clean and immaculate, the gardens full of exotic and colorful flowers, while the pristine white walls are coated with all manner of decorative ivy. The cathedral and the surrounding gardens are a beautiful monument to life, pulsing with controlled growth from countless plants and flowing fountains filled with a rainbow array of coys and carps. Here resides Alewin Morfina and his greatest follower Sister Solfina who are in the process of opening the way to the Feywilds.
Within the Grand Cathedral, cloistered in a plush wing of the structure lies the withered body of Ascal, barely able to move in his immobile state.
When Alewin dies Sister Solfina will resurrect him as a Deathlock to serve him and the pair will run to the portal taking Ascal with them.
