Maelstrom
Zehaan volunteered to work at an archaeological dig near the temple of Esagila south of Baghdad. While there, he accidentally triggered an ancient trap that sent him plummeting into a hitherto unknown chamber. There in the chamber Zehaan found a strange object. Nearby inscriptions named the object Imhullu, the sacred weapon of the ancient Babylonian storm god Marduk. Zehaan was drawn to the weapon and touched it, absorbing a portion of its divine energy.
