Kid Perseus

Reid is a descendant of an ancient demi-god. Reid was working in his uncle's pawn shop when it was robbed. One of the criminals aimed a gun at Reid's uncle and Reid bravely jumped in the way. The gun went off, but time seemed to freeze before the bullet hit Reid. A mysterious hooded figure appeared and offered to grant Reid a portion of his ancestor's power on the condition that he use these abilities for good and never seek godhood for himself.
