Dollmaker

No one knows precisely how old the Dollmaker is, but she has been a fixture of the superhero b-list since at least sometime in the early 20th century. Her powers involve the creation of animated dolls in a variety of forms, and her main nemesis has often been the villain Puppetmaster (who is rumored to have been an apprentice of the Dollmaker who turned evil).
The Dollmaker occasionally takes in "strays" - young people experiencing hard times who she trains to be heroes.
