The maskless

The maskless are a group of people in Ascala who cling to their original heritage even though not much is still remembered. They refuse to actually have their children masked and separated from them and have secret meetings and ceremonies while hating the masked though they know they can't publicly do anything about them.

not too concerned about modesty and everything should be practical or symbolical.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

Girls wear flower motifs after they get married and when they have their first child the cloth making up the flower design is reused for the child's clothes

When you first start working you're considered to be ab adult.

Funerary and Memorial customs

Believes that the way you are put to rest establishes how you return to the earth burial become one with the land burning one with air and put to sea to become one with water.

Their origin story of the masks have a dragon sell the souls of the masked and replaced them with those of animals.

Beauty Ideals

Extremists in the group finds wearing any facial coverings as disgusting and even the more open minded don't like the idea of masks purely for hiding expressions.

Both the men and women are working class and as such woman are desired to be capable though their are jobs that are seen as more traditionally for men or women.

Courtship Ideals

Usually gets to know one another to show interest then if both agree to have serious commitment they spend some time with each other completely naked and reveal what they consider their greatest secret after this they have vows promising to always be equals in front of a small group of important people at this point they are considered married.

Each person in the relationship holds the other one in check and makes sure they stay true to who they are and to their people.
