The Red Citadel

The Red Citadel is situated in the Duchy of Rotheim next to a crater where a meteor fell in ages gone by. It is built of red stone and rises forbiddingly over two smaller buildings, the Mage's Guild House and the Healer's Guild House which are located nearby. The Red Citadel is where all training of Slayers takes place and where the Mage Collars are forged from iron mined from the meteor.

Purpose / Function

The headquarters of the Order of the Spirit Slayers. This building also guards the meteorite from which is mined the mineral that is used to make the mage collars that mages capable of formal magic wear. This is also a prison for mages as magic does not work within a day's ride of the citadel and mages who are sentenced to be imprisoned here also mine the metal that is used in the Collars.
