Tonight was amazing. Even though it wasn't a formal practice, all of the team showed up at the pool for me to get back at it. It was a brilliant moment, standing on the platform with the glass smooth surface of the pool.
Admittedly I could feel how different my body is after the past year. But I still felt great heaving myself into the air and moving my body around itself before slippin into the water. It felt amazing. It was a singular moment for me.
It's going to take a lot of work but I want to be in shape to compete regionally by next year.
This weekend I'm staying at Windsor Castle. Gran isn't there, she's very busy in Northern Ireland this weekend. I'm going so that I can see some of the selections from the Royal Collection.
If I could spend some extra hours at the pool, I would, but I'm not really able to with teh outing for the portraits.
