Diplomatic action
There is something darkly funny watching the PM walk back his disgusting rhetoric because I'm there, clearly afraid of what I might say about him. I admittedly didn't make a secret. I spoke about how amazing Australia is, its natural beauty and its warm and good citizens. Then I talked about the queer Australians I'd met and how important it is for them to see people in the halls of power like them and people love and accept them. And I spoke about the dangers of hateful rhetoric and how important unity is.
