The ongoing questions about Grandpapa and the dead woman - Corinne Valentine - have hounded us for days.
Grandpapa says London is a fish bowl so today we came to Balmoral.
Gran always told me to search for the good thing. Sometimes that's really difficult to do but I've decided that the good thing about his impromptu excursion is that I get to show Rory Balmoral.
On the train up, Rory said that leaving feels guilty. He's not wrong, typically, but there's a lot more to the way we function as an organization Gran said "never complain, never explain." Somehow I don't know if this is what she meant.
Supper was wonderful. It always is at Balmoral. Seeing my family so openly welcoming my boyfriend is so much more than I've ever expected. Watching Grandpapa and Papa interact with Rory like he's always belonged makes me so I happy that when I think on it too much, I start crying with joy. Somehow, my fantasy future life is becoming real.
