I guess it doesn't matter that I knew it was happening. I still couldn't stop myself from shaking as I stood in the Throne Room for the second time this year. Gran was seated on the Throne in all her finery, Almost as though she were about to open Parliament. Instead, she rose and made me kneel. I read the words on the placcard held infront of me and for not the first time, I swore my allegience to my Gran -- to Her Majesty, the Queen. And now I get to sign my name newly. And I have an income.
