Annie and I arrived at Heathrow this morning at an ungodly hour for our flight. We should arrive in New Delhi at about 8:30pm local time. Symbolically, the President of India will send a page to bring us to the residence - the Rashtrapati Bhavan. It shows historic anger over British rule in India. *eye roll emoji*
Look, we certainly committed our fair share of injustices, but I'd like to think that history will view the British Empire as a general good thing. And it's been so long since we withdrew from India, this show of protest is nothing more than that, a show.
Once we get to the Presidential Residence, we'll meet President Mahanti. The trip is going to be very busy.
