It truly surprised me how good it would feel to walk the Oxford campus today in my robes as I collected my degree.
To have eearned a degree in classics from Oxford University is an achievement that feels rather surreal, more so, I'm sure for everyone else, when you look up and see that the Queen is there to witness.
I've a strange thought, really, maybe even more so for us in the Royal Family, to have a rather informal and intimate relationship with this woman who seems so very normal to us yet we know she's anointed and touched by the divine, yet be so much a part of our daily lives.
To everyone else it's probably easier simply because her anointing makes her distant and megalithic.
Now that the ceremony is over, we're on the Royal Train headed home to London.
