René came all the way from Brighton to visit me. He's there filming some romantic comedy. He tried to explain the film but it seems a bit difficult to follow.
The film doesn't matter though. The point is he took time out to see me. René, Alexander, and I went out to a few pubs, danced even. It was great. At least for a few hours, it felt sort of free. It was intoxicating.
