Callum Griffiths

The Right Honourable Callum Griffiths, KCVO (born 9 May, Y67) was a British courtier who has served as Private Secretary to King Sebastian I. As Private Secretary to the Sovereign, he was the senior operational member of the Royal Households of the United Kingdom. In this role, he took part in the Coronation. After the Accession Council declaration of Sebastian I, in a private ceremony, Callum was made a member of his the Privy Council, giving him the right to the style "The Right Honourable."   Griffiths accompanied the King on his emergency visit to the Falkland Islands.   He previously served Sebastian and Rory Cameron in their capacity as Prince of Wales and Duke of Edinburgh.   On the 27th of February (y101) Griffiths assisted the King at a charity function. While the King was leaving, a gunman took several shots at the King. Griffiths placed himself between the gunman and the King, taking all three shots himself, killing him.

Callum grew up in LLanfairpwll (Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogorychwyrndrobwlllantysiliogogogoch), Anglesey, Wales. He is the only child of Robert and Cari Griffiths. He grew up a fairly privilaged life and attended St. David's College (Boarding School in Llandudno, North Wales) He excelled in several sport and recieved a multitude of comments from his instructors on his ability to organize and keep schedules. He attended King's College, Cambridge where he also sang in the Choir - King's College Choir. He was made Assistant Private Secretary to Her Majesty, Queen Gloria (Sebastian's mother) and later was made Private Secretary to the Prince of Wales, Sebastian of Windsor. When Sebastian asceded the throne following the death of his father, King George VII, Sebastian refused the Private Secretary to the King, Sir Percival Dean, demoting Dean to advisor to the Royal Household and making Callum Private Secretary to the King. His parents are both active members of Plaid Cymru, the political party that advocates for Welsh Independence from the United Kingdom. Callum's attendance at King's as well as his career in Royal Service greatly upsets the Griffiths and has led to strained relationships with both of his parents.
