Lieutenant - King's Reach City Guard

Qualifications

An exemplary service record, ability to command and effectively utilize several smaller groups of men.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Sergeant or equivalent experience with a recommendation of the Seneschal.

Appointment

A small gathering either at the local hq or tavern is held for the promotion. This allows the men to share in the experience but also highlights the new Lieutenants position change.

Duties

Lieutenants will often be found among their men when needed. As there is usually only a handful on duty at a time they are called after incidents have wrapped up or during especially tense situations as their primary role is ensuing the lesser ranks follow orders and to ensure their reports are accurate for their Captain

Responsibilities

Lieutenants work with each other to direct the teams of privates and sergeants throughout local districts. They also maintain the records of events during their watch.
