Lord Kesrick was rewarded for his service to the crown during the 100 year war.
His skills are are in controlling local populations and stabilizing regions.
He would rather use gold and his network of soldiers and guards to deal with his problems, rather than direct confrontation.
He holds little regard for local traditions unless they can be used to further his goals.

Strong, noticeable limp from an old injury, looks younger than his age.

General in the kings army. He was put in charge of a Ratan strong hold and the surrounding villages. He was able to keep the region stable and was known for working with the local population to consistently outproduce other occupied regions.

He was given several accommodations during the war the greatest of which was the title Lord and with is control of the region of King's Reach.
