Demon

Demons are malevolent beings that exist in the space between the sky of Tarsis and the stars. Made of maiga rather than flesh and blood, they generally cannot interact with the mortal denizens of the world and are thought to be byproducts of the gods' existence, formed by their idle thoughts and actions in the heavens. Angor's Diezens and less scrupulous cabals have recently taken to summoning them, however. Forcing demons into possessing people and things, these ephemeral beings are given a physical form to act within Tarsis' atmosphere. Without this step, demons begin to dissapate into the ambient maiga present in the world and fade away entirely. When they are brought into the world without a vessel, demons will lash out at any living thing they percieve with devastating effect.
