Remenda Gel (Reh-Men-Duh)

Summary
Made available to the public by the Corvyn Medicine Conglomerate, Remenda Gel is a breakthrough in healing technology that makes the days of the standard healing potion numbered. Compact and fast-acting, Remenda Gel is a "miracle cure" for those with the money to procure it.
The Corvyn Medicine Conglomerate (CMC)
The Corvyn Medicine Conglomerate (CMC), founded after a Sage Elfkin Pothemancer by the name of Kaiphys Corvyn, formed as a joint organization between the different species of Tarris 7 with the goal of regulating medical practices, distributing and authorizing the use of new treatments, cures and remedies, and maintaining a consistent stock of tools, medicines and supplies to sustain their facilities and dispensaries. The CMC is split into Regional Councils and the Administrators. Each regional council has 200 representatives that observe medical usage trends, study and share reports on medical developments, and vote on issues prompted by the governors, senators and other high officials of the different townships and cities. These votes are then passed on to the Administrators; another council of 101 members who pass new medical regulations, introduce or approve new medical product for distribution and handle emergency medical situations at local and global scales. The 101 members are made up of two representatives of each species in Tarris 7; one male and one female. The final member is the acting Head Administrator of the CMC, whom to this date is Kaiphys Corvyn.
Research and Development
The Remenda Gel was proposed as an alternative to traditional healing potions as their accessibility became scarce in the Auspensian Adventurer's Rush. Notes were made that the potions were volatile, expensive, and their common containment in glass vials was tenuous at best. A vote was pushed through the Regional Councils and to the Administrators, ending with a vote favoring research and development into a new medicine.   The Gel-like substance was developed by an Arthinian Avakin Phytologist named Bel'kul Bar'ak. He discovered by combining the mineral rich powder of Freijan Redsalt, the sap of a Holus Tree, the root of a Vulcan Charlily and a measured drop of distilled Amaeo Accelerant that a compound of rapid healing could be created. With the properties of these compounds and exposure to a source of air, the concoction would rapidly expand. During preliminary testing the substance seemed to undergo no further changes aside from expansion and slowed to a stop when about 10 times its original size pre-addition of the accelerant. Its final form was foam-like in substance and eventually it flattened out to a putty. Application of this by-product proved non-effective in attempted healing experiments.   In a later test, Bel'kul Bar'ak attempted to mix the concoction in a container. By taking a standard glass bottle used for healing potions and modifying the cork to have a small packet of Amaeo Accelerant within it, he was able to keep the other ingredients of the concoction dormant for prolonged carrying. Upon pressing a small sized wood pin on the cork, the packet would be punctured and release the accelerant. After a few vigorous shakes, the compound would react and the dark orange substance would turn a bright orange. Opening the cork from the bottle would expose the compound and it would expand outward. Applying this compound to an exposed physical wound would allow the gel to perform its "magical" work and reconstitute missing material in the region; resealing wounds and quickly repairing damaged bone, muscles and tissue. While not as quick as the standard healing potion, it could recover a grievous wound perpetually for a longer period of time.   The trials concluded in a success and Bel'kul Bar'ak and his team were praised for their breakthrough. New storage containers were designed as a small amount of this material could provide enough substance to recover major wounds. Taking from the innovation of the puncture-cork, a small glass vial with a funneled end, a thin barrier with the Amaeo Accelerant and a push-pin with small rod was developed for rapid and focused dispensation of the remedy.   After this, Remenda Gel Vials were available at Dispensary Stones and CMC Facilities across Tarris 7. Those who had CMC Protection Plans could access this remedy at any time by presenting their identification at a Dispensary Stone or CMC Facility for rapid healing of physical ailments.
