Tarris 7

In a realm of magic and mysticism, there once was a race of near divine magical beings. Grand magi, sorcerers and wizards populated this vast world of old. Lands rich with essence were tapped into over generations, granting their inhabitants power beyond imagination. With such great power, they sought to show gratitude to their invisible provider by cultivating the world into a beautiful and abundant paradise of wonder.   One of these magi, Mautatauph, was unsatisfied with his abilities and craved even greater power. He spent days in rigorous study and training, honing prowess, assimilating power. Then he attempted the greatest feat of magic in the known realm; one never attempted before or since.   The magus began his manic incantation, as he channeled his consumption the land below quaked and cracked. His act absorbed all in its wake, the culling wave of the magus's channel reached across the world, taking life from the planet, and from the denizens he once knew as countrymen; their essence fed into his ravenous spell.   No magician was ever meant to contain this much power. The magus shook violently and loosed a final blood-curdling cry before all the essence of the world ruptured from within, it scattered their home world, their knowledge, across the galaxy.   From the ruins of this mystical world were spawned hundreds and thousands more across the vast vacuum of space. Our story follows one such world created from calamity; Tarris 7.
