Inscriptor's Gauntlet (In-scrypt-urz gaant-let)

Summary
An invention of a Elven Demorahn Runesmith and Artificer, the Inscriptor's Gauntlet is a variable design hand-affixed tool that allows a user to write on surfaces and inscribe runes on materials at a distance.    As the Inscriptor's Gauntlet was designed by an Elfkin, the original model is meant to fit slender hands with thinner palms and fingers. However, through collaboration with other races such as the Taurenfolk and Dwarves, different designs and mechanisms were made for the gauntlet to be used by multiple kinds of people across Tarris 7.
Features
Any variation of the Inscriptor's Gauntlet will include the signature rune on the back. This rune allows any user attuned to the gauntlet to operate its magical features. In the base model, an Inscriptor's Gauntlet is outfitted with leather bindings and base, brass plating and housing for tools and resources, and a small ink tube and pen-head along the thumb of the gauntlet. Using the tools or materials attached to it and the concentration of the user, the gauntlet can project what the holder is thinking onto a medium they are concentrating on. The user can think of words, phrases, other characters or even images to inscribe onto the medium and the gauntlet will transfer the resources equipped to it onto that medium in the proper amount.   The longer the message, more detailed the image, and the larger the transcription, the more time it will take to inscribe it using the gauntlet. The further away or harder the material is to transcribe on, the more intense the concentration required to successfully complete the transcription.   Auxiliary tools can be applied to the other finger and joint parts of the gauntlet as long as the rune on its back is left unchanged. Incorporating a carving chisel bit and a small duster could allow the gauntlet to inscribe into wooden objects and surfaces with greater ease. A metal grindstone or Dremel bit and a small canister of contained air can allow for easier carving into metal surfaces.
Applications
The Inscriptor's Guantlet was developed at the request of multiple Runesmith educational institutes for training late year students. It would later see request and subsequent use in governmental organizations for reducing paperwork writing times and in mass manufacturing of enchanted tools and equipment. Depending on the citizen, commonfolk can acquire their own Inscriptor's Guantlet and successfully attune to it should they have a connection to the Essence.
